Located next to Seddon Supervalue in the shopping complex, the Awatere Community & Visitors Centre provides locals and visitors with information about Seddon.
Awatere Community Information Office provides information, travel arrangements, internet and is an advisory service for visitors and locals. Producing a monthly publication - The Awatere & Flaxbourne Bulletin delivered free to the community offering advertising and free promotion of local programs and activities for social and well-being for all age groups.
Local arts, crafts, books and preservatives are on display and available for purchase.
Internet access is available for a small fee. Staff at the centre will be happy to help you in booking your ferry, bus or flights here.
The Centre operates a small library free of charge.
